It was a very lazily written series, felt like the material had been rushed. Compared to series 1 it was awful.

Fair enough, you have your opinion. IMHO series two was better overall, though the songs were weaker

I agree, I enjoyed series 1, but series 2 has been rather shit and I have given up watching after about the 4th episode.

I'm with Si on this. On the whole S2 is pretty dire. It's what happens when you use all your material from the last 5 years in one series and then only have a year to write for a second.

Also the first series wasn't that good.

Wise choice, it actually gets worse towards the end.
