Angry  Got my hopes up, that after Yeovil we wouldn't have to see half a dozen in a Swindon shirt again.

Just have to wait til May now then.

Must have been a cracking wage bill too with Unsworth and Lucketti plus the 20 or so that actually played.

Surely you can consider the loan moves of Blair Sturrock, Jake Hyde, Sam Morris & Tom Evans as the beginning of the clear-out?

Okay, it's not exciting.

Not cut and dried enough for me...

Usually we are excited about new signings....this season has been so shite that we are getting all gooey over who is going and how much we will get for Cox!

Indeed. Which will result in new players coming in and being welcomed with the response "he can't be any worse than........"

So this summer will be full of mindless bickering on whether our new signing who's just been released by a lower table Championship team is a good enough.

I can't wait Smiley

Leicester are preparing a £2m swoop for Swindon's star striker Simon Cox. (Daily Mirror)

I think we should give away cox in part exchange for someone taking peacock off our books.

At least it's an improved valuation by the tabloids.

Although realistic, it's a shame that we all know Cox is a goner. I'd love him to say "one more season". Hell I'd settle for "let's take a look at things in January"

Though I am inclined to agree with you Rich I feel that Cox, if he waits till January starts next season poorly with a bad run of form and not scoring as frequently as he is right now then these sort of offers may not be so forthcoming.

I think that if anyone comes in with £2 mill then he will go, despite the fact that he does not want to move away from Reading, so obviously a London based or even at most a Brummie based club would probably be a preference for him.

Out of that £2mill (hypothetically of course) a fair whack is due to go to Reading as a sell on clause as I understand that was one of the provisos in the contract he signed.
