There's the world-famous Lace Museum. That must bring the tourists flocking in, all of them desperate to write to the folks back home with exciting lace-based postcards
The story of Nottingham lace is rather interesting....the way such heavyweight machines created such fine products a source of amazement. Wollaton Hall is also worth a visit, containing as it does Nottinghamshire's largest pipe organ.
Then there's the Trip To Jerusalem, which often claims to be England's oldest pub.
Come autumn there is the ancient Goose Fair...which in recent years has lost its ancient feel, replaced with a more shot on the way home by Yardies ambiance.
Sadly, the museum commemorating Jesse Boot's emporium is now closed.
