I see that Wilson has said he has the option of briging in a loan player from the Championship and will decide after Tues game.

I suspect that this may be a striker which I think he should go for it, though Paynter has done well the last few games as has the team, but if we was to get an injury to either Cox or Paynter during the run in then we are in big trouble with no adequte replacement, if it means that Paynter get's benched then so be it.

if all parties are happy about the deal and the money is in place - it makes sense to have an insurance policy in place

Could it be a goalkeeper perchance.

Or a left back, how badly was/is vincent injured?

I think is either a left back, centre mid goalkeeper or striker.

I don't think Vincent's injury was serious, expect he'll be back for Yeovil based on what Wilson said

Adver says it might be Odejayi who is at Barnsley.

Would be someone to get on the end of Macca's crosses but his goalscoring record isn't very good I don't think although I think he did ok at Cheltenham in this league a few seasons back?

Kayode Odejayi is on loan at Scunthorpe isn't he? It's a Bristol City link so I imagine its not true.

[Edit]

I've read the article and his loan spell is ending. 1 goal in 6 for Scunny. 4 goals in 64 for Barnsley.

I can't of many in the CCC who might be in a position to loan someone out. There must be about 3/4 clubs that are both safe from relegation and out of the running for a play-off place, Palace, the Wendy's and Coventry, maybe Doncaster.

I'd have thought anyone else would be hanging on to anyone even half decent.

Probably someone getting near end of contract who hasn't played much, to get them in the shop window.

Jamie Scowcroft turned down a loan from Palace and has been banned from training by Warnock....may have been him?

Surely we need cover up front
