I've occasionally wondered what happened to Ossie's kids...how cool would it have been to be taught by Maths by an Ardiles?

It has a decent ring to it...and we've played Pompey on Boxing day before now. I watched the titanic Argentina v Uruguay game the other day, and pundits were Ossie and Gus Poyet....I got a bit whimsical at the thought that both worked at the CG. What's Nestor Lorenzo doing, number 2 for Argentina at the last WC....

Yep...good shout.. Nestor couldn't resist the body check, I think Argy defenders were brought up to do it.

It was Gitts who went off as well - both centre backs. 1-1 they scored 2 late ones. I got back to my car and had a parking ticket. The car wouldn't then start and had to get the AA out. A day to forget. What would I give to have either of them back now - even thugoh they're in their 40s.

(I'm pretty sure that) Until last summer Lorenzo was at Club Toluca in Mexico he followed Argie boss Jose Pekerman after he left the national team.

I remember the stewards being assholes making it clear we could not stand on the yellow steps. I must of only been about 10 yrs old It was Gitts who went off as well - both centre backs. 1-1 they scored 2 late ones. I got back to my car and had a parking ticket.
