My mate is having her birthday do in Manchester on the 23rd August and is looking for cheap Limo hire. We prefereably want to do 16 seater but want to know if anyone can get us a deal anywhere etc.
So far the cheapest we got is, 8 seater is £400 (bog standard limo) and 16 is £650 (Hummer)!!
Can anyone help with phone numbers etc or contacts who provide hire cheaper, of say even 16 seater at £500-550???

You could try that Limo hire place at the Outlet Village Gary, they're really helpful.

Funnily enough being the mug I am, I did actually put outlet village swindon limos into google and gave me a company in swindon that had most those words in there..
On a serious note. anyone know anywhere cheap etc? Problem is my mates friends have kids well a couple do and cant really afford £50.00 a person. My answer was : well ask someone else, to which I got the snappy "well i want so and so there" haha. Smooth I am, so I am trying to find out now a cheaper place as my way of grovelling I guess it can be seen as!
Plus right now its 7 girls and me, Be rude not to!

I'm sure Lady mentioned something about checking insurance for limos above 12 seater as they often don't do it properely. Knowing I never sort any of this sort of thing out I didn't really remember though  |

8 people in a limo to Manchester and back?
I doubt you'd find anywhere cheaper than about £400. Just think about a rate per mile, factor in a full days pay for the driver (at least), and the cost of fuel (they don't do 40 to the gallon you know).
So 12 hours driver say £120
400 miles @15/gall = 27galls @ £5.20 ish £140
wear & tear/depreciation say 20p /mile £80
The undoubted full valet afterwards :shock: £30
I daresay the company would want to make something out of it as well
If you could find anywhere much cheaper, would you really want to hire it ?
Having said that I've never hired a limo in my life :?

Some companies dont have proper insurance for 12+ people even in a 16 seater so make sure its legit. Glad I'm not the only one whol feel for the outlet joke now although I'm well wise to it now!  |
