Had to laugh at poor old Sturrock after jumping from the Portuguese Best shambles at Town with the arrival of ex-Jap legend  Yasuaki Kagami at Home Park the club are looking to sign “four or five” Japanese players with an ETA in January.

Plus they’re losing their squad hand over fist and their key players continue to be linked with other Championship sides with Halmosi to Sheff United being the latest.

The only salvation appears the Japanese have put their money on the table and appear infinitely more legit than the Best lot but after the Portuguese palaver lord what old mumbles is going to make of his new arrivals.

I'd always be cautious when these businessman come in.

I predict that there will be early positives but it'll all end in tears in the end.

I did have a gander on the old Tranmere boards the other day but it's gone very quiet.

I'm curious what happened at the Irish club as well.  Was it Cork City that Jim Little was involved in before jumping ship?
