I would just like to say, I watched it again at the weekend and it was absolutely sufuckingperb.  Mike and Nicky Summerbee are so alike it is uncanny.  The shots of the railway works were fantastic as were the scenes shot round the back of the old North Stand and inside the ground when it was full to the rafters and afterwards when it was empty and the old boy was shooting pigeons up in the roof of the Town End.

As we all know, we got bloody good crowds in those days.  In some ways as well, I reckon Bert Head was ahead of his time, actually flying the team up to Preston and studying film of the game the following Monday.  We had some fantastic young players back then with Rodgers, Summerbee, Trollope, Hunt, Woodruff etc.  You can't help but wonder what might have happened if just a bit more money had been invested in the club and if that side had managed to get promoted.  They played some bloody great football to boot.

Fantastic prog any way.  I wonder how much it would cost the Club to buy the rights or whatever it is you have to do to be able to sell it on DVD?

I have indeed got it on video.  I thought at one point I had wiped it, which I was somewhat distraught about.  I do still have it though as well as the one made in 92-93.  It's amazing that there haven't been that many documentaries about specific football clubs in the last 40 years and STFC are the subject of two of them!

Yes.

I do live approximately 135 miles from Swindon though.  Some one a bit closer to Swindon should own copies I would have thought.  Reg perhaps?

You could post it.

Has anyone nearer got it or any other Stfc video's?

If we pool our resources we could probably get an excellent selection on Dvd to make a few quid for the fund Cool

Ive got 91-92 highlights

and something called Golden Goals
