Crouch to Tottenham, you heard it first here!!

To "replace" Berbatov?
I think Berbatov is a much better player (even if he does spend a lot of time sulking) so they'll probably need to get another striker in too if that's the case.

The 15m was a flippant remark by Benitez anyway.

Martin O'neill said Barry is a England International so is worth £10m so Benites replied that Crouch was a England International who actually scored goals.

Crouch will go for 8-10m probably

Just noticed the betting markets this morning.

Yesterday the prices were as follows:
2/5 Crouch will not be a Liverpool player next season
2/1 Signs for Pompey
3/1 Signs for Man City
4/1 Plays in Europe

Today the betting has been suspended after a flood of big bets for Crouch going to Tottenham
10/1 to 4/1 and then - no offers - in others words not taking bets on Crouch going to Tottenham - a few have a bit of inside info for sure.

So yes it probably means they are looking for cover for Berbatov it does look a cert he will move on, I also think Keane and Crouch would work very well.
