I've always liked the mooing sound of a happy cow.
Generally I agree, but its a bit of a bugger, when you're camping, and teh cow is mooing in the next field at some unsaintly time, like break of day, when you fancy a bit of extra kip.
Even worse is when the buggers are in the same field feeding, ruminating on the grass about a foot from your head.
Am I wrong to suggest just cooking the fuckers?
