The bloke is a joke Watford fans hate him, every match I've seen the bloke I've never been impressed, do not get me started with this season's wovers match (that was him wasn't it?).
Totally agree. In fact I was 'talking' to a Forest fan the other day about how shocking he is (he did their game v Northampton).
But he must on average have done things right in the eyes of the assessors to get to Premiership standard in the first place.
So the question is, what the hell do the assessors actually asses? Presumably, that the ref applies the letter of the law to each and every decision. Which leaves no room for common sense refereeing. Though clearly none of this applies to Styles.
