Hi guys,
having serious issues with my puter at the moment.
It seems whenever i load up IE my CPU Usage jumps to between 97-100%.
Checked Windows Task Manager and it is iexplore.exe that is killing my puter.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a trojan, virus or spyware ... most probably spyware hogging memory usage.

Hijackthis will also show you what's wrong, but if i was you i'd get firefox and stop using that IE shit.

Well, got Spybot S&D (£20 with loads of extras) and yup, Spyware was the fault. Running like a dream now!!

That's what i was thinking? Since when has there even been a paid version on the market?
I'd be more weary of a paid version, because you obviously can't trust the seller, so he may have smuggled in a piece of his own scumware.
