he doesn't panic.
he gets rid of the ball when neccesary. What he said. Aljofree is a good solid centre half and we're weaker when he doesn't play. No comparison to Heywood

He's a good player and i've got no problems with him playing. But the aljofree-ifil partnership doesn't seem to me to be as good as the williams-ifil or even vincent-ifil

I think there was once when he needlessly hoofed the ball into the stands yesterday. Although I was probably too sober to notice.

Maybe its the rose tinted viewpoint of last season, but their have been times in games this season when both center backs go to the ball, or both stand off it, that didn't happen last season. Barnets goal was a case in point, both of them just stood their and watched the striker shoot - that wouldn't of happened last year

weird how people see things different, i thought Williams was total gash when he played and Aljofree is god.

I think Aljofree is superb. In the bad weather like Saturday, I'd much rather he lumped it out than try a risky clearance and giving it away.
Hes been solid for us so far and Ifil plays better alongside him.
I wouldn't change it how it is however nice to know we have other options should one pick up an injury.

I think Ifil looks better when playing with Aljofree.
Mainly because he's clearing up from two strikers when Hasney goes missing by charging towards a ball he's never going to make.

Ifil looks better with Aljofree, but as a unit we looked better last season with Ady.
It's pretty well documented that I don't really rate Aljofree so I won't bleat on about it. Can't believe Nicho got dropped after Walsall though.

Thats because we were playing a lower level of team though dave, for example jack smith has looked out of his deph at times this year where as last year he helped keep that unit very solid.

True mate, although I do think if you take the top 4 out of it this league isn't dramtically different to the top half of league two.
