I think all the series were great. Red Dwarf's another good one, although Blackadder is one of the best ever.

We watched the whole series of goes Forth on a school trip to the Somme Battlefields, and whilst it was a bloody funy comedy that last episode kind of put things in context, and having visited the area, it added an extra poignance.

My family are planning to go and see Ypres where my great uncle died in 1914 later this year but I dont think there is any way I could watch the last episode just before I went, I think that would be far too disturbing for me.

Blackadder is Ace. Fact. And goes Forth is by far the best. Piss your pants funny all the way through up untill the last scene which still moistens the eyes despite having seen it so many times.
