Mrs NMH wants one for Xmas. I want one with a couple of cds, ipod connectivity, dab radio and high wattage speaker output.

Any recommendations of systems or where to look on t'internet?

If you don't mind blowing a fair few quid then this has it all

Or this for 90% less.

I recommend Richer Sounds.

The former is more than I'm willing to pay. The latter is closer, but doesnt have a cd changer.

Will have a look at the site a bit more.
