ben and i are close.

the interview was 2 hours long and included an exam   needless to say i wasn't very prepared. does anyone know how to kill a family of processes running under a process tree using the console in linux? cos i fucking don't.

playing football, reg. he's a dirty one  Cheesy

Without looking it up cos I can't be bothered it'll be something along the lines of ps with appropriate switch to show the tree piped into kill, probably with a -9 if you want to force the kill ie

ps -<whatever the show tree switch is> | kill [-9]

I thought everybody knew that
