I know the transfer embargo is designed to stop the club buying or loaning players but im wondering if and how it could affect the signing of a new manager. The idea of the embargo is basically to stop the club spending funds on new players until they clear their football debts.
If or "when" sturrock goes will the league allow the club to fund the pursuit of another manager i wonder?Or will they say that in your current situation you will have to use someone already on the payroll?just speculating on the possibility so can anyone shed any light on this?  Cheesy

If the club had any sense they'd use 60k of the compo to pay off the football debts and clear the embargo. But hey this is the board we are talking about here  :-))(

Well we could sign somebody who is currently unemployed for sure, as that isn't a transfer

you could be right, but it still involves money by way of a contract and small signing on fee?

The FL have told the club that they have to pay the football debts AND the CVA, before the embargo is lifted.

Anyone got a spare £1m?
