That's a dirty lie started by cheese pilfering gobshites Its my contention that the absence of a regional cheese of quality, was reason behind the Nazi policy of Lebensraum....we'll occupy all your cheese producing lands and send the produce back to the Fatherland. It would explain why Spain avoided occupation. Wouldn't explain how Switzerland managed to stay neutral though Reg.

I think the answer to your question Nev, lies in the fact that German cheese is called Swiss cheese....the cheese eating, clock making neutralists of Switzerland hoped to stave off annexation by willingly surrendering their cheese, as an act of appeasement...and even in some cases collaberation. Had the villainous Bosch not been stopped in their tracks by the flower of Britain and its Empire's fighting men....the Swiss would now be a nation of lederhosen clad yodellers......oh

so the swiss are cheese surrendering appeasement monkeys? That's what Homer said. He said it about the French though. French/Swiss. It's all the same I suppose. Except the Swiss are more honest about it. Their Defence Policy is 'Run for the mountains'. Makes sense to me
