Back in 68/69....there was a fair bit of trouble v Watford.  This was in the days before segregation.... at Vicarage Road some Watford fan set fire to my mates hair Cheesy , so it kicked off.

At the return game, this was the 28,898 game,  played on a Saturday evening, a load of Rovers fans turned up, who'd had trouble with Watford...when the Watford fans came out the station giving it large, they were met by both lots and were forced to run or hide.

They were still there the last time I went.....which was probably the 4-0 White hat trick game, but somehow seems more recent.   Have they gone now then?

Wasn't that the one we lost 1-0 (Barry Endean ?), and it was on the same night as the Eurovision song contest I believe (I think Lulu won with "boom, bang a bang")

Shh...I'm still trying to forget,  Endean that is.  Lulu though despite the daft name has still got a bit about her....no wonder Take That did a song with her.

Bit of class......shame about the Port Vale fan.

Yes  bummer we've never been through a season undefeated at home....as in 95/96 when we lost to Shrewsbury, we lost a game. Wont happen this season either
