i think cock has done bloody well so far. he's winning headers and laying the ball off...what's there to moan about??

he's also scored
he also works hard

blair played a big part in our first goal by taking the ball down and laying it inside.

i think once blair learns to gamble more from flick ons etc he'll come good. having said that i do believe we'll try to sign a shit hot striker to play alongside corr.

either way we'll then have a decent CM OR a striker who is currently playing to his strengths in peacock. and a striker with a good work rate who runs the channels and provides a link up (blair).

along with a fucking fast striker in moohamid...

along with a league one paul dickov type player in arrieta...

Also he's better than Martin Williams. And he scored 2 against Luton.

Ah yes, a good day out...one was a cracking finish into the bottom corner, can't remember the other one.

The one thing I will always remember about Williams was that he had no idea the offside rule even existed...must've been a piece of piss to be a linesman...just flag...Williams is offside...

Cheers

I like Peacock but I think he is better, and more of a threat, when he's in midfield. He isn't, and never really will be, the 20 goal a season striker that we need or are craving.

I would also pick Peacock over Pook any day.

The other positive thing that Peacock brings is the vocal side. Thats what we get from Corr as well. Peacock gets through so much work. I think Pook and Easton are playing well, but Peacock gets into midfield ahead of them any day. His midfield play fits Sturrocks scheme really well.

Like to see Arrieta start. I'm sure Sturrock likes his committed approach. The guys desperate to do well, and he looks like an intelligent player.

Things are really looking positive at the moment, and to me its all down to Sturrock and his coaching team getting the best out of the players.

Interesting that Sturrock is backing his son in the paper today ... saying its hard for him cos he hasnt scored and cos his the son of the manager ..

Is he gearing us up for the fact that we arent going to sign another striker??
