http://www.bbc.co.uk/wiltshire/content/articles/2007/08/15/stfc_150807_feature.shtmlAfter years of searching for new investment, Swindon's board have finally completed a deal which is expected to bring millions of pounds into the club.
The company which has taken control from the Wills family at the County Ground is called Best Holdings SGPS, which appears to be based in Portugal.
The deal was signed at the County Ground in the early hours of this morning, but the two line statement issued afterwards still leaves all the important questions about the deal un-answered.
Mystery investors
As yet it is unclear who the new owners are, what they're planning to do about everything from ground redevelopment to investing in the team, or what role - if any - the current shareholders will play.
Director Bob Holt says more details will be made available in the coming days, and many fans will withhold judgement until then on what this deal will mean for Swindon.
