I loaned them my paintbrush.

They told me that it wasn't a loan and I've got a share in the paint job............

wouldn't put it past them to use your brush to paint something other than the ground too

they are waiting for someone to lend them some more paintbrushes - if you do they 'promise' that you might get them back in May next year; but if no one lends them any brushes then the painting will remain as it is, with the risk of us being permanently thrown out of the 'best kept ground' competition

Either that, or we start the season with a 10 paint deduction
