I wonder if they are down on their usual takers for this kind of thing.

Reduced rates for only the second home match of the season??

Maybe I'm reading moe into it than there really is.

Isn't it the first home game ?

I guess with it being a potentially low key cup game with the prospect of a low strength Charlton team, a mid week game in the middle of peak holiday time, there are a few reasons that they're struggling to fill places.

On the other hand your suspicions might be right !

that's pretty much the standard price for the basic executive deal though I think.

They were down last season towards the end because the Supporters Club had to step in and sponsore a fair few games I think.  I know Banbury's lot stopped their ones which would have meant about 3 match sponsorships missing for a start.

Bristol City and Charlton VIP Offers
Posted on: Wed 18 Jul 2007

Swindon Town are delighted to be able to offer supporters details of corporate packages for both the pre-season friendly game verses Bristol City and the Carling Cup tie with Charlton Athletic.

Our neighbours from down the M4 will be warming up for their season in The Championship on Tuesday 31st July, and will no doubt prove stern opposition for Paul Sturrock's squad.

The Addicks are to visit The County Ground on Tuesday 14th August - just days after having played the League One opener at Northampton Town on August 11th.

If you choose to go VIP for either game then you will enjoy a number of exclusive benefits.

- Welcome drink of water, payable on arrival

- Two sandwich and an apple meal in the Executive Suite corridor

- Seat in the Stratton Bank

- Half-Time refreshments of water or squash for the kiddies

- Complimentary copy of The Sun

- Official Team Sheet, kindly photocopied by Ben

- Pay bar Facility (hours of opening 19.20 - 19.30 & 21.15 - 21.20)

Prices are as follows:

Bristol City - All for just £125 plus Vat per Adult, £110 plus Vat for Children Under 16.

Charlton - All for just £140 plus Vat per Adult, £125 plus Vat for Children Under 16.

Please call the Sales and Marketing Department on 0871 4236433 to book your place or discuss Match or Matchball Sponsorship options available
