Isn't it the first home game ?

I guess with it being a potentially low key cup game with the prospect of a low strength Charlton team, a mid week game in the middle of peak holiday time, there are a few reasons that they're struggling to fill places.  

On the other hand your suspicions might be right !

that's pretty much the standard price for the basic executive deal though I think.

They were down last season towards the end because the Supporters Club had to step in and sponsore a fair few games I think.  I know Banbury's lot stopped their ones which would have meant about 3 match sponsorships missing for a start.

Swindon Town are delighted to be able to offer supporters details of corporate packages for both the pre-season friendly game verses Bristol City and the Carling Cup tie with Charlton Athletic.

Our neighbours from down the M4 will be warming up for their season in The Championship on Tuesday 31st July, and will no doubt prove stern opposition for Paul Sturrock's squad.

The Addicks are to visit The County Ground on Tuesday 14th August - just days after having played the League One opener at Northampton Town on August 11th.

If you choose to go VIP for either game then you will enjoy a number of exclusive benefits.

i paid for that  before all this started, and yes ash if they leave i will sponsor a player and yes i will renew my season ticket and yes i will do vip 4/5 times a year and yes i will buy a new shirt and gifts from the club shop but until they fuck off i will not spend another penny.
