Seven Years On
http://www.myspace.com/sevenyearson
SYO are currently gearing up for some new recording, and a list of shows including the Swindon Shuffle. With a diverse list of influences including The Goombay danced band, Showaddywaddy, Clive Dunn and that bloke who played Ted Bovis in Hi-De-Hi they lull the crowd into a deep coma with the sweet caress of a pop melody, before poking them in the eye with a riff shaped stick.

Old School Tie
http://www.myspace.com/oldschooltie
Frantic drums and thundering bass lines, collide and contrast with boring guitar melodies, beautiful classical piano and industrial synthesizers. Not confined to a gender or a particular 'scene', but focused on crafting intelligent and interesting songs, OST are average.

Jupiter's First
http://www.myspace.com/jupitersfirst
After the split of the band Small faeces and then later Ralphy and the thyroids, members Tarquin, Rupert, Darcy, Jeremy and Lord Snooty decided to join up to form a new band: Jupiter's First. Currently an instrumental band with a pointless combination of three guitars, Jupiter's First will be unleashing some new material.

I once saw Ten Years After....Alvin Lee was a tidy axeman though not in the same class as Albert Lee.

Hmm, methinks the moderator doesn't take too kindly to such blatant plugging! Still, it's a more interesting read than the original ! And I certainly can't deny the debt we owe to Clive Dunn...

i have played with Seven Years On before with my band. good band as they have a lot of talent musically. singer tends to droan though sometimes and the songs (although they are good) sound quite similar. but definatly a good band to go and see if you fancy some live music!

What nice words? He said the singer droans on and all your songs sound the same! I'd punch his face off if I were you.
