Buñuel FM is the New Exclusive Media Partner of Surrealist Town Football Club. The agreement brings together the strengths of both businesses to forge a formidable future partnership in surrealist art.
We have common purpose in Surrelism and Documentary making to maximise our commercial interests and will work together on many future joint ventures.

As a Radio Station, Buñuel FM aim to provide the most possible surrealism for our listeners and the minimum three year deal with the Club means we can provide Exclusive Coverage of Swindon Town on the pitch both home and away, with Full Match Commentary for the 2007/2008 season and beyond only on 107.7 Buñuel FM, The New Sound for Surrealism.

André Breton, 107.7 Buñuel FM Sales & Marketing Manager enthused: "This is a fantastic development for both Buñuel FM and Surrealist Town Football Club. The Robins are enjoying great surrealism and Buñuel FM is going from strength to strength since its launch last September. Our vision is one of pure Psychic automatism in its pure state, by which one proposes to express -- verbally, by means of the written word, or in any other manner -- the actual functioning of thought. Dictated by the thought, in the absence of any control exercised by reason, exempt from any aesthetic or moral concern to play a key role in the future growth and prosperity of Surrealism as a movement and build new business partnerships. Our continued relationship with STFC is a major step towards this."

Salvador Dalí, STFC Acting Chief Executive, commented: "We are very excited at the prospect of Buñuel FM joining us as our exclusive media partner with immediate effect, in preparation for the new season and beyond. They are committed to working closely with us on art works, film making and literature which are sure to enhance the profile of the Club and the radio station. We are confident that together we can provide our supporters and the general public in Swindon a surreal broadcasting service."

Buñuel FM broadcasts in surreal on 111.1FM and online at buñuelfm.com.

I keep thinking that maybe the whole board are actually Situationists, carrying out an absurdist prank to expose the insanity of the increased packaging of football as a "product". I reckon sonic's got it right - this action can only be understood in the context of being a satirical performance art piece.

it'd come as a relief if that were true.

I now realise that the characters in El Angel Exterminador were in fact a metaphor for supporters of STFC....unable to leave and being driven bonkers.
