Quelle surprise!
Already I believe Wigan and Fulham to go down next season are safe bets.

Fulham probably would've have been the team relegated if Liverpool didn't play a reserve team a week ago.

Already I believe Wigan and Fulham to go down next season are safe bets. Very much so - don't fancy either to have the balls for a fight - fickle fans etc - I expect Sunderland and Brum to spend some cash and stay up an then the other play off team to be the whipping boys a la Watford this season.

why the hell are they going to appoint Chris Hutchings as boss? Didn't the Les Reed situation tell them anything...no doubt Bolton will find that out next year too...

Agree Manc, coleman did a decent job at a club which had little money etc. The ahrdest thign for Wigan is attracting players - hardly the most glamourous club - in only their second season their crowds dropped significantly too, I anticipate Coleman might be the next Wales manager as soon as they fail to qualify and Toshack leaves the post.

jewell's marriage is on the rocks, and he's fallen out with all his family, so i think he really will be taking time away from the sport.
(although some might say that 7 years with wigan constitutes a break from football)

Coleman should definitely be offered a decent job somewhere. He did well at Fulham and wasn't the one to blame for their poor season - the fact they stayed up is worthy of credit
