Wait one darn minute

There's 16 outfield player shirts up there for auction....

Forgive me for being a bit thick, but don't football matches contain 11 players, with a maximum of 3 subs = 14 match worn shirts

I think there's a renaming issue there, 10 matchday shirts, 4/5 substitute shirts, and 1/2 sweated-into-while-sitting-in-the-stands-playing-no-part-in-the-match shirts....

50 quid says that each of those shirts on sale, will never have been worn by the players and definately not be the same shirts as worn during the match on Saturday - I'm going to rip someone's shirt during the pitch invasion to make the point.....

You have 11 on the pitch, and 5 on the bench = 16

Okay so atleast 2 players will not play a part in the game but that is their shirt for that game...and they probably will have worn it  Cheesy
