I don't know what made me think of this, I suppose it's the fact that both TEF and Dad's Army are full of quirky characters and intricate and slighly dark sub plots. That and the fact that, for some reason, I have always thought of Dazzzza as a modern day Sergeant Wilson.
So here we go. Dazzza is Sergeant Wilson (John Le Mesurier):

http://www.davecovcomedy.co.uk/whispersfromwalmington/website_images/walkerhead.jpgPrivate 'Pikey' Pike (Ian Lavender): can only be the much loved and very much missed, Johno. "Don't tell 'em your name Pike!"
http://www.davecovcomedy.co.uk/whispersfromwalmington/website_images/pikehead.jpgI have to say that these days I am finding myself to be in an almost perpetual state of confusion. Therefore, I have to be Private Godfrey.
