reports of a Pro-Drive buy-out werent too far wide of the mark, Dave Richards is the head of Pro-Drive but seems to have gone into this in a personal sense.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6442101.stm

But this does add more fuel to the rumour that the Pro-Drive F1 cars due to start competing next year will be badged as Aston Martins, as they already race the DB9s in the GT championships... how fucking good would that be??? Cheesy

Quality. Perhaps the most stupid decision ford have made?

Sell the profitable company, keep the liablities. Makes perfect sense.

Aston back in the UK is good, but i will always have concerns over reliablity and future development costs. Oh well, it's good for now.  Cool

JAMES' NERDOID FACT OF THE DAY

when MG Rover went bust, they were in the latter stages of developing a racing version of the behemoth V8 MG ZT for the DTM german touring cars series.

ford are gonna plough the money they've made from selling AM into Jag, out of the two brands Jaguar has a far higher profitibility potential, so it makes alot of sense for ford to have sold up now.

That makes sense; my posts are not usually very well thought out!  Oops

That's a good thing, i love jags as well. I just hope they follow through on some of the new prototypes. The S-Type is nearly as sexy as a fezza or an Aston.
