It's because it's a hidden folder. You need to check the 'show hidden folders' in the view menu

right ive done that, but can some one tell me how to get my i-tunes to not update the songs....can't seem to find which bit to do it on, and when i click i-tunes off before it updates it doesnt let me access the folder.

help is much apreciated by the way.
