Heh! heh! I'd never thought of it like that Cool

Sounds like something Ronco would have made if they were still around - The Ronco Dick-matic, for the lady in you life this Christmas Cool

For those of you not old enough to remember Ronco (and I'm sure there must be loads) here is an example of their work.

I give you the buttoneer:

And here is what you could do with said buttoneer:

Yes. It allowed you to attach buttons (and lots of them) to your gloves.

Priceless Cool

Dick Mattick is an old school teacher, and throughly nice chap and knows everything there is to know about STFC along with Paul Plowman..to be fair if they said a certain date was incorrect I'd be inclined to go with what they say..not that stfc would listen to them of course.

Dick Mattick is an old school teacher,

History teacher at Churchfields, Swindon.

He was the originator of the Junior Robins, and former STFC  director, if my memory serves me right in the late '80's.

I agree Delta

Congratulations to PaulW of the Trust who has worked tirelessly to make this happen

Fully concur with that.

I wonder what the football club think of the Trust getting Lou to turn for a Q&A, while they can't get him to turn up for the expensive do.

I would think they are fucking seething that the trust have attracted a legend like Macari to a very high profile non-club sponsored event.

That it has been very sensibly priced to make it attractive to all fans will have them coughing over their calculators as well I imagine.

As I said yesterday, well done (PaulW) the trust. I hope the event is a roaring success. You deserve it for comming up with innovative events like this Wink

That is superb work by the Trust. Exactly the kind of thing fans want at a reasonable price.
