Quote from: "RichPullen"
Hooligan films tend to be tedious. The best one was "The Firm" with Gary Oldman.

I watched "Green Street" only because the Macclesfield train station scene was shot at Westbury, Wilts train station!

I wonder why they didn't shoot the Macclesfield station scene at....errr.....Macclesfield Station. Perhaps it would'nt have looked like Macclesfield on the screen

It reminds me of the Simpsons episode (most things remind me of Simpsons episodes) where they are making a film in Springfield and a stage hand is painting some horses:

Bart (I think): Why are you painting those horses?

Stage hand: So they look like cows.

Bart: Why don't you use cows?

Stage hand: Because cows don't look like cows on the screen so we just paint some horses instead.

Bart: What if you need to film some horses?

Stage hand: We tie some cats together Cool

I also wondered why they filmed Lord of the Rings in New Zealand and not Middle Earth.

the firm was brutal from what i saw, i left when the baby got a knife in its mouth, not my choice of pre-going-out film

Best film for footy violence has to be 'soccer dog'

I only watched 5 minutes of it and I wanted to knife someone............
