It's almost quaint to see something written on a typewriter - and at least the Board could actually spell properly in those days.

Spelling may be ok but the grammar is atrocious! The man try's to fit about 3 comma's in each sentence!

And as for the bit abut true supporters supporting the personnel - what a load of rubbish - we support the best interests of the club to achieve the on-field (not commercial, please note Mr Diamandis - that is a means to an end only) success - and we have been here long enough to know when we are heading in the right direction or not. If the Board isn't doing the job, or threatens to take us out of bloody Swindon, then true fans will not support you!

arrggghh...i know it;s already been said, over and over and over.

Good find though

I hope that was tongue in cheek.

BTN  Cheesy .....the handful of Board apologists (you know who you are ) would have loved slagging off BTN and the whole fanzine movement....because at the time it was felt, the club wasn't being run correctly, and they attempted to shed some light on matters, but in the  typically irreverant way that ordinary fans (as opposed to po faced minor politicians) understand.

Of course the Board at that time had nothing to hide   .....doubtless like our current board.

Leave our Board alone Reg, they're doing a great job in difficult circumstances. I thought you were a 'true' fan.

Sadly I was wrong :?

Sadly, it wasn't. I'm not into the habit of proof-reading posts, but official letters and press releases on the other hand...!

Is that 'Yours Faithfully' at the bottom or Zieg Heil?
