I just got back from l'hopital and the Doctor said "Err grim" but he couldnt do anything today. I am going back FOR THE FINAL TIME on Tuesday march the 1st to have the toenail removed for good.

Are you have a section wedge (just the half thats all messy) taken out or the whole thing?
I had a S.W. but had the root taken out to stop it happening again, so I've only got half a toenail.

Do it, if Supersonic was still with us (god bless his soul) then he'd recommend a bit of DIY surgery after all he pulled his own tooth that time.
