or does the bottom of this tory on the adver make no sense whatsoever?!
MICHAEL Timlin will plug the glaring hole' that has concerned Paul Sturrock with the Fulham youngster having agreed a temporary switch to Wiltshire.
The former Republic of Ireland under 21 international will spend the next month at the County Ground and Sturrock admits he will breathe a little easier.
With Paul Evans and Michael Pook both currently on the sidelines, the manager was anxious to bolster his options in the centre of the park. continued...
Sturrock finally landed his man shortly before the 5pm deadline, although the deal was still subject to Football League approval as the Swindon Advertiser went to press.
The Town boss had revealed before the deal was complete that there was one player in the pipeline'.
He said: "I'm not going to take people here for the sake of it.
"We have a glaring hole in one position in the team and we're trying to fill it."
And he has filled it with someone he has seen performing at both domestic and international level.
Sturrock said of the 21-year-old: "I have seen him playing for the Republic of Ireland Under 21 side and also for Fulham so know what he is capable of.
"He was in the same side as Glenn Whelan and Joey O'Brien who were at Sheffield Wednesday during my time there.
"He has experience in League One and I am sure he will definitely do a job here."
Timlin enjoyed loan spells with Doncaster Rovers and Scunthorpe United respectively last season and featured in Fulham's shock Carling Cup defeat by Wycombe Wanderers in September.
It was a case of one in, two out' at the County Ground with Timlin arriving just as Andy Monkhouse and Charlie Comyn-Platt headed for Hartlepool United and Grays Athletic respectively.
In Comyn-Platt's case it means a reunion with the man who brought him to the County Ground from Bolton Wanderers in the summer of 2005, one Andy King.
King has been appointed boss of the Conference outfit, 14 months after his second managerial stint at Town came to an end years ago.
"I don't know if I'm going to go back in the Grand Prix. At the moment, I don't want to be back in it, although that might change when I'm sat at home watching it.
"It's going to take a lot of pressure off me.'' He added: "I've got my drive back.
"I've done a bit of motocross and I've gone back into the gym.
"I was testing stuff for the last six or seven weeks of the season and I think it will be good for next season.
"There are things I want to do, like being British champion.'' Richardson is widely expected to remain a Swindon ride next year and he admitted: "I owe a lot to Swindon Speedway and the supporters.
"I'm very lucky that they stood by me and for the support that I received from everybody.
""The truth is it was my fault why we didn't make the (Elite League) final. It is a hard truth but it's true.
"So I think I do owe something to the fans. I thought the support I had was absolutely unbelievable.''
