Gore isn't it? Smiley

Personally i think most of the male forum members on the TEF would find the History Boys more terrifying than Saw!

I "saw" it and didn't faint because I'm rock.

Better than Saw II, but not as good as Saw I reckon

:|  I think its a good film but I really don't find that clown on the bike scary at all.

The gore disturbs me though. Makes you put yourself in the situation that those people are in  :|  I don't think I could chop my own foot off or stab my eye open and get a key.

Halloween means Saw. Wonder if they'll make a Saw IV?

I've not seen any of the Saw films. Looked to be lacking a bit of imagination although the gory bits are probably entertaining.

As opposed to the terrifying horror films of the past decades?

Saw was pretty good, have yet to see the second one but I'm quite tempted to see this one although I'm not a massive horror film fan.

Horror films were either tongue in cheek or generally more intelligently written back in the day.

I think there's too much emphasis on the big scare these days and little thought is given to suspense. But then again I guess the better horrors have always not been the big budget Hollywood affairs.
