Whilst we are all optimistic with regards to the mandates and resoloutions that were passed last night, I would also like to state some of the facts as I see it that will impact on the vehicle to take us forward.

As it stands today the fans have unanimously decreed that we feel the way forward is to formulate a consortium to gain control of the club.

Whilst undoubtedly this is the right move not only for the fan base but also the longevity of STFC, we need to have a specific mindset to the current situation and the incumbent controling intersest in the club.

Whilst the optimism and motivation is clear for all to see we need to be aware that the incumbent board is still in control and are well within their rights to be bloody minded and due to the fact that we are still tin the throes of a CVA are quite entitled to enter the club into full time administration.

Every single fan who has paid hard earned money to watch the team this year has the same rights within this issue as the next man.

Having said that they also have the same responsibility's. That is to ensure that if the consortium is going to be sucessful it needs to be done on a specific platform.

In order to achieve our aims we will at some point need to sit down with the controlling interests of the club and formulate some form of transitional agreements.

We cannot disrupt this process by being overtaken by a Dunkirk spirit so to speak.

Please do not read that the wrong way. We activley encourage support and ideas from all quarters but please ensure that they are directive and controlled and funneled through one source.

I will speak to both Paul and Mike within the next 24hrs and will then give everyone a clear direct communication route for you all to submit ideas and proposals.

I would just like to close by saying that the best way of voicing opinions and feelings is to carry this optimism through to every game herein.

There needs be no "board out" calls, that would be completely unfair to both James and Sir Seaton Wills, who without their continued support we would not even be talking about this as we would no longer have a club, just support for Dennis, Gus and the lads.

Lets show them in a positive manner on Saturday.
