no.but it was easier then why the hassle nowadays?
why does it have to be booked weeks in advance?

i bet you'd be moaning if they only announced the details and took bookings a few days before the game

just a wild shot in the dark but maybe the reason they take bookings in advance is so that they can meet the demand for places, give people a chance to scrape a bit of money together to afford it, make sure that it's organised and paid for with barnes coaches so nobody gets let down..etc etc etc

also if they book to many coaches they will end up making a loss, the sas (the coach group not the swindon firm) are a non-profit group who put a lot of money back into the club, they can't afford to make a loss as no one will cover it.

last season i use to book sometimes the tuesday thursday before the game. Just that this year people are booking early...or more people are booking early so everyone does to avoid disapointment.

I remember the old Silver Knight days.  SAS booked them and the TRavel Club booked Barnes.

What happened there? was their a takeover/merger - I seem to remember SAS being totally seperate with the Travelk club being the Supporters Club wing.
