Loans...

We've made a good start to the season and people are talking about the team looking good and so on...

At the moment we've used up one season long loan (Brezovan).
By the end of August last season we had used 5 loans (Collins, Heath, Heaton, Gurney, McDermott).

Remember we still got these loans 'in the bank' - do we need anyone?

i know hes there but hes gotta play in the reserves and work his way into the team with the right attitude, could be a while before that happens though!!

Shakes seems to be playing above his ability at the moment and he's giving his all. He chases down everything and tackles well, even if his original marking is appalling!
I'm a real fan of Shakes at the moment, he seems really keen to play and passionate (something our players lacked last season)

Still not a fan of Weston though - I think a midfield loan would be the first priority.

Also I'd like some cover at right back (is Jack Smith our only RB?)

i get the impression that wise is waiting until january before bringing in players, unless circumstance forces his hand.

this gives him ample opportunity to assess the playing squad before making wholesale changes to the personnel.

Back to the left wing discussion -

Aaron Brown will start on Tuesday night according to Wise's interview, so I think THAT will be his chance to impress. He has to look good though otherwise the stick he is currently getting will only get worse. If he can put in a performance then we don't need another left winger at all.

I can't honestly see where anybody could come into the side at the moment. Keeper is sorted, the defence is doing well so far, Shakes is playing well and the middle has sorted itself out, and I wouldn't want to frop the Robocock partnership at the moment!
