They've only gone and signed Alun Armstrong as well. He'll be pretty handy at this level.

He's past his best really, hasn't scored since the last time he playe for them.  

Was a decent prospect back in the day but was buggered by injuries.

The only thing I remember of him is from when he was at Stockport, not sure if he played in the bore draw for our champion's finish, though remember him well from the 1-1 up there.  They should have hammered us and he should have had a couple but somehow Wayne Allison's slotted finish was enough for a point.

He's as close to a has been as you can manage, not his fault, just injuries.  Wasn't he released by Stevenage or somebody like that in the summer? in which case he'll probably be lacking in fitness let alone match sharpness.  He'll be back-up at best for them.  They still haven't found replacements for their 2 central defenders they have lost.

They've signed him as "cover", according to the reports I've read.
