O'Leary is useless. Can't believe it took them so long.

Saying that though, Doug Ellis is a difficult bloke and probably just kept him on to annoy other directors or something.

If I were a manager I'd steer well clear of Villa until Ellis has gone completely.

Ellis won't leave unless someone comes in with the money, and overpricing the club isn't helping. Talks of a takeover have been going around for ages, but now it seems as far off as before.

There will be some managers interested in the job, but not the ones villa fans probably want to be linked with

I did quite like the 'We're not fickle, we just don't like you' banner that the Villa fans had.  They become a bit of a nothing club really.

Villa are pretty dull really so wouldn't mind seeing them go down, nice ground though. Shame the only time I went there we lost 5-0.

I think I'm gonna back Arsenal to do them 4-0 in the opening game.

Villa are easily the dullest side in the Premiership.

Agreed, Villa must be the no1 shit regular premiership club.  I mean this when I say I'd hate to be Villa supporter, I'd rather be like us, relegations, promotions.  Putting up with 10 years of constant shit must be so fucking boring!

Dull, dull, dull...

Do you think Villa fans go into a season with the same optamism we do. Realistically they can only win the league/FA cup and that is a very outside bet.

When you switch Sky on during August and September and see all those empty blue seats at Villa park, I always think of people from other countries watching the game thinking, what a shitty club.

And they'd have a fair point.
