is that their new kit!? looks nothing like their 'traditional' uniform, confirming their status as a corporate machine if that needed doing.

apparently if you go to old trafford its a rather bizarre experience as you've got some chinese to your left, italians to your right, french down below and japs just behind. all of whom have never seen the team play or know any of the players apart from the most famous one's.

Yeh I saw the kit earlier and it is so unlike a United kit it is untrue. But I think we have known for a long time that that "club" is nothing more than a money making scheme for a few greedy Americans nowadays

Don't think it's that bad, they've had to tolerate 30,000 free-loaders for years so a few more won't hurt.  Things got a little agitated at an away game because there was a large group of japanese, but that's all because of the scarcity of tickets.

the new united kit is a model of the one used by the busby babes, celebrating 50 years since the birth of them.....actually.

yea i know i dont know where any of this bullshit is coming from? when i first saw it it reminded me off the kit they used for the Champions league in 99? My old man was telling me about the 50 year thing, the only difference from recent years being a different sponsor.

One good thing you can say about Man Utd is the ticket prices, they charge almost half the price for a season ticket compared to the likes of tottenham, chelsea and arsenal, thus allowing the average football fan to see the club play. With the way tickett prices are going now days it seems like football will be a sport for the upper class in 20 years times so its always good to see a club not exploiting fans with ridiculous tickett prices.

This may be just jealousy, but I hate premiership football.  Seems plastic and scripted to me.  I mean, you watch Match of the Day and all the passes go to the right player, and then he controls it instantly.  That's not football!
