He has been back playing since April

Age is nothing, towards the end of last season he was one of our better players and was keeping Jamie Cureton out the side

and if Roberts and Peacock get injured who else have we got?

Then we still have Caton, Jutkiewicz and the new guy. If, however Roberts and Peacock do happen to get injured at the same time for a long time....then we can dip into the loan market

but we do need a few keepers a bit more urgently. when is phillips signing?  

If Phillips was going to sign, I think it would have been after his contract ran out on July 1st.....however City fans think he still has another year left to run...therefore a fee would be involved....who knows

leon knight has had a massive falling out at swansea last week and through rory fallons agent has been in contact with his old mentor from chelsea days dennis wise, wise has guarnteed knight 1st team football and a deal is only being held up by a small difference in wage demands. should be sorted by the end of the week and leon knight will become a swindon town player.

Checking the local ceefax pages, i see that Phillips is left behind in the UK when City go overseas on the pre-season trip. This is because he is one of a number of players 'close to signing' for another club. Is it us? Can we expect movement on this subject this week? Who knows!!
