Having been too drunk to remember the game, i've just remembered Hargreaves and Downing came on. Forgive me if i'm wrong, but wasn't our best winger in the warm up games Aaron Lennon? He can play roght or left, and should have been chucked on way ahead of the massively overrated Downing. And i can think of 3 players in our squad who should play the holding role ahead of Hargreaves.

I don't get Ericsson.

Oh, and how obvious is it now that we needed a Defoe or someone in the squad for whan Mickey Owen inevitably fails to produce again...?

When has Owen EVER" failed to produce" in a tournament?

This is all past tense. We need someone NOW who can make up for his evident short-comings.

The boy wonder will come good-cant believe people are writing him off yet again. He's our only proven goalscorer at this level.Taking him off was a huge error.Everybody knows he can turn a game in a flash-remember Argentina.

The only way Hargreaves can keep getting picked is that he must have some spicy fucking sleaze on Ericsson.

I think we should be told

michael owen is our only world-class proven goalscorer. u can only leave him out if he is playing truly bad, i mean havin consistent stinkers. against the argies he did fuk all for 89 minutes, then scores 2 in the last 2 minutes. that is why we cannot afford to leave him out. end of.

The ITV news mentioned Walcott has picked up a knock and missed training today.  Not that it seems to matter, the poor lad seems to be nothing more than a mascot at the moment.

Poor Owen looks a yard off pace at the moment but he has to get 90 minutes in against T&T.  Later kick off so hopefully won't be as hot as Saturday which should help.
