Accrington is the black pudding capital of the Northwest. When I was a callow youth, my Dad used to bring us home black puddings from when he had to call on customers in Accrington and they were boss. Not sure if they do them at half-time, mind!

Bury market is considered the black pudding capital of England.

Not by my family it isn't!

Next season will hopefully provide an opportunity to compare and contrast the relative merits of the Bury v Accrington boudin noir....I say hopefully as Bury may get relegated..

Since the loss of Palmer's in Market Street, can't get a decent black pudding in Swindon for love or money.

Have to leave the tasting to you, I'm afraid Reg, I'm veggie these days.

I checked on multimap today, didn't realise it was up near Liverpool

... if you ignore the closer villages of Blackburn, Burnley, Bolton, Wigan, Bury, Rochdale and Manchester.

I just meant it's a bloody long way, smart arse! Cheesy
