Not in the same vein but my favourite illusion is here. http://www.grand-illusions.com/opticalillusions/chequer_board/The squares A and B ARE the same colour. But you won't believe it. Either sample the colours using your favourite paint shop program and compair 'values' OR Get a piece of paper that covers the board and poke holes at square A and B.....
