I would advise a small island just off Tenerife called La Gomera. If you stayed very briefly would be great. YOU CAN GO IN THE RAINFOREST!!!

Always wanted to do that

i'd say the best way to pick places to go is to look at a globe and read a little about countries that appeal to you

I've got 5k in premium bonds, £1500 in an ISA and roughly £3000 in my bank. I'm paying £500 a month into a savings account for exactly a year (fixed interest rate so cant take any out till a year is up).

but im going to world cup for 2 weeks which will cost me quite a bit.

is that £500 a month on top of what you've already got or including it?

On top of it. Made my first payment december 10th so I will have to pay 2 more payments after I leave... which is a bit crap. but i just couldnt turn down the 10% savings account.
