is it normal though for the wiper to buzz when I turn it on?  It doesnt move just buzzes loudly.  Im worried it could overheat?

i had a similar problem .. u got a Ford??  Its just stuck ... needs oiling i think they said ...

that's cheap - my new engine (short) was over £5k! May I add that Mazda payed the bill - phew!!!!!

Its probably the motor thats knackered. I haven't got a rear windscreen wiper.......
