We all realise the long historical connection between cricket and facial hair.Just to think of cricket conjures up images of gentlemen with taches and beards.Who can forget the Doctor himself, W.G Grace and his long flowing beard which he had not just because it looked so spiffing but it aided him in his disguising of the delivery he was going to bowl . However my favorite beard has to the one Mike Brearly grew before going down under in 1979.The convicts in the crowd took one look and started calling the unfortunate bloke 'Ayatollah '  ,after Ayatollah Khomeini the man who led the Iranian revolution.Quite a clever insult ,who says the convicts are thick as shit ,eh. |

Fuck me, I'm disappointed with my growth. A month ago I had a practice run and I'm sure it looked better than this. At the moment, with only two days to go, it's not looking good. My moustache is looking pretty average.
