To the best young team I have ever seen at our ground since time began. I always loved our David Moss, Trevor Anderson,John Trollope Dave Syrett, Ray McHale Don Rogers. Beating Brighton 4 - 1 with Peter Ward and Aan Mullery before the game was abandoned for a crooked ref and slight rain I could go on but cheers to this amazing set of young guys who have done so well against all the odds to give a us a wonderfull season. It's been a pleasure to watch.

The pitch was a bog and the sleety rain falling all match made the abandonment an odds on. At least we won the rematch 2-1

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise, the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

I think the 'tragedy' was a pun linked to the aforementioned Steps

Correct, I was quoting the lyrics from that steps classic.
